Data from CAICT suggested that in June 2020, the total domestic market cellphone shipment was 28.63 million with a 16.6% year-on-year decrease; from January to June, the total domestic market cellphone shipment was 153 million with a 17.7% year-on-year decrease.
Among them, the domestic market 5G cellphone shipment was 17.513 million, accounting for 61.2% of the total cellphone shipment in the corresponding period; 24 new models were launched, accounting for 51.1% of the total number of new models launched in the corresponding period. From January to June, the cumulative shipment of 5G cellphones in the domestic market was 63.597 million and 105 new models were launched, accounting for 41.5% and 48.6% of the total, respectively.
