Chinese GPU designer Moore Threads has announced its intention to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's main board via the issuance of overseas-listed foreign shares, as part of a broader strategy to deepen its international footprint, attract top R&D and management talent, and enhance corporate governance and competitiveness.
The company simultaneously released its first-half 2026 results, posting revenue of 1.736 billion yuan , a year-on-year surge of 147.42%—already exceeding its full-year 2025 revenue. Gross profit reached 989 million yuan, up 103.78% from a year earlier. Profitability improved markedly, with net profit attributable to shareholders and recurring net profit attributable to shareholders narrowing their year-on-year losses by 95.73% and 52.37%, respectively.
Moore Threads continued to invest heavily in R&D, with spending reaching 769 million yuan in the first half of 2026, up 38.16% year-on-year. Cumulative R&D outlays since 2022 have approached 5.9 billion yuan.
