China Telecom’s mobile subscribers saw a net increase of 430 thousand, totally reaching 336 million, according to its operational data in Jan 2020. Among that, there was a net decline of 660 thousand in China Telecom’s 4G users in the same month, with the accumulative users of 280.58 million. The wired broadband counterpart had a net decrease of 440 thousand in January, totally standing at 152.69 million.
The mobile subscribers contain 5G users, but its concrete data is not released, said China Telecom. It is known that in this January, the company said its 5G users have exceeded 8 million.
