Today, Henan Provincial Government Information Office held a press conference on “the 2021 Henan Province Internet Development Report”. According to media reports, Henan is to open 41,800 5G base stations this year, achieving continuous coverage in areas above the township level.
Henan also plans to invest 990 million yuan this year to expand 5G registration capacity and promote the cloud development of 4/5G services, bringing the network capacity up to 80 million households.
In the end, it is to expand the application of 5G in 10 key industries, namely steel, coal mine, cement, chemicals, equipment manufacturing, food, home appliances, education, medical care, and agriculture.
