Guizhou Broadcast Network has been actively engaged in the exploitation and experiments of 5G applications in broadcasting. In 2020, under the overall arrangement and plan of China Broadcast Network and in accordance with relevant requirements of Guizhou Province’s 5G Development Plan from Year2020 to 2022, the total number of 5G base stations in Guiyang City will be increased to 200 and in order to facilitate the construction of 5G base stations, further exploration will be done in 5G network with characteristics of the broadcast industry and differentiated marketing mode.
It is estimated that by the end of 2020, Guizhou Broadcast Network will complete the work of 700M frequency shift across Guizhou Province, conduct the massive construction of the 5G trial network and start application demonstration in certain key industries. In 2021, Massive 5G network construction will be implemented across Guizhou Province and deeper integration between 5G and vertical industries can be expected.
