Honor hosted a technology communication event in Xi'an on April 13, officially launching YOYO Claw, its self-developed on-device "Lobster" AI agent. The company announced that the technology will debut on Honor's MagicBook series of thin-and-light laptops, creating an entirely new product category dubbed the "Shrimp-Raising Laptop".
The "Lobster-style" AI sector currently features a multi-party competitive and cooperative landscape among model developers, internet firms and device manufacturers. Each party explores distinct pathways based on its own strengths. As a representative device maker, Honor has carved out a unique approach by drawing on its in-depth understanding of user habits and its ability to integrate hardware computing power with underlying system architecture.
Centered on system-level pre-installation, end-cloud collaboration and end-side prioritized intelligent routing algorithms, Honor aims to deliver "Lobster" AI terminal products that truly cater to mainstream consumers.
