Zhongji InnoLight Co., Ltd. has officially published its global offering prospectus for H‑shares and launched the listing process on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). Trading is expected to commence on July 30.
The maximum offer price for the H‑share offering has been set at HK$1,010.00 per share. The Hong Kong public offering will begin on July 22 and is expected to close on July 27, with the final offer price scheduled to be announced on or before July 28.
Regarding the use of proceeds from the global offering, the company stated that, assuming the over‑allotment option is not exercised and the offer price is HK$1,010 per share, it expects net proceeds of approximately HK$54.513 billion. Approximately 35% of the funds will be allocated to continued R&D in optical interconnect products over the next five years; about 30% will be used to expand global production capacity in support of product upgrade roadmaps, targeting an additional annual production capacity of roughly 50 million optical transceiver modules within three years; roughly 15% is earmarked for strategic acquisitions and investments; approximately 10% will go toward enhancing supply chain resilience and commercialisation capabilities; and the remaining 10% will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.
On future R&D strategy, Zhongji InnoLight outlined four key priorities: first, to continue improving the performance of its 1.6T optical transceiver modules, with a focus on reducing power consumption, minimising signal attenuation, and increasing integration; second, to sustain investment in the development of 3.2T optical transceivers and prepare for mass production; third, to develop a portfolio of XPO, NPO, and CPO products to meet the demands of AI network infrastructure and high‑bandwidth applications; and fourth, to make strategic R&D investments in technologies such as OCS and MicroLED‑based solutions, which will lay the groundwork for long‑term competitiveness as the industry moves toward more highly integrated optoelectronic solutions.
