Today, Alibaba's semiconductor subsidiary Pingtouge launched a high-end AI chip named "Zhenwu 810E" on its official website.
According to reports, the "Zhenwu 810E" is a highly user-friendly AI chip that integrates both training and inference capabilities. It adopts a fully self-developed parallel computing architecture and Inter-Chip-Network (ICN) interconnect technology. Each card is equipped with 96GB of HBM2e high-bandwidth memory and supports PCIe 5.0 x16 host interfaces. Its inter-chip interconnect bandwidth reaches up to 700GB/s, enabling flexible multi-card configurations through seven independent ICN links, demonstrating excellent linear acceleration ratios in clusters of tens of thousands of cards.
The "Zhenwu 810E" has already been deployed in multiple ten-thousand-card clusters within Alibaba Cloud, serving over 400 clients, including the State Grid, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xpeng Motors, and Sina Weibo. Its hardware and software systems are stable and reliable, meeting complex business demands.
Industry experts note that in terms of performance, the overall capabilities of the "Zhenwu 810E" surpass those of NVIDIA's A800 and mainstream domestically produced GPUs, positioning it on par with NVIDIA's H20.
To lower the development threshold, the "Zhenwu 810E" is fully compatible with mainstream AI ecosystems. It offers source code-level compilation capabilities and a unified programming interface, supporting rapid model migration and autonomous expansion. Combined with Alibaba Cloud's comprehensive AI framework, platform, and application ecosystem, it forms an end-to-end "chip-to-cloud" integrated solution.
