Reports say that ZTE has established an internal automotive electronic team. At the recently held 2020 performance review meeting of ZTE, CEO Xu Ziyang responded that developing the automotive electronics business is not catching to fashion, but a natural course technically. ZTE has everything required to develop automotive electronics, including hardware, software, operating system, database, connectivity, big data and AI. In addition, ZTE possesses abundant experience in system integration with guaranteed reliability, performance and major technologies.
With regard to market positioning, Xu pointed out that ZTE only focuses on “being integrated” with its own capabilities leading customers to success. This is called win-win cooperation, which is the strategy that ZTE has upheld to expand government-enterprise businesses.
