China Telecom recently released its key operational data for August 2024. During the month, China Telecom saw a net increase of 1.68 million mobile users, bringing the total number of mobile users to 420.74 million. Among these, 5G package users saw a net increase of 3.14 million, reaching a cumulative total of 342.89 million.
In the wired broadband business, China Telecom's wired broadband users increased by 730 thousand during the month, bringing the cumulative total to 195.04 million. In the fixed-line telephone business, the number of fixed-line telephone users decreased by 340 thousand during the month, with the cumulative total reaching 98.4 million.
