China Mobile recently announced its operational data for June 2024. During the month, the net increase in mobile customers was 1.816 million, bringing the total number of users to 1.000256 billion.
In the same month, China Mobile's 5G network customers saw a net increase of 11.66 million, accumulating to a total of 514.218 million 5G network users.
From last month onward, to better reflect the development of 5G, China Mobile has switched from disclosing the number of 5G package customers to the number of 5G network users on a monthly basis. The number of 5G network users refers to the number of mobile customers who used the 5G network during the month.
Additionally, China Mobile's wired broadband customers increased by 1.651 million in June, reaching a total of 309.172 million.
