China Unicom recently released its operational data for June 2023. The data shows that the number of 5G subscribers reached 232.445 million in June, with a monthly increase of 2.819 million.
In the first half of this year, China Unicom added a total of 19.718 million 5G subscribers. As of June 2023, the cumulative number of "Big Connection" users reached 927.922 million, an increase of 10.046 million compared to the same period last year. The cumulative number of IoT terminal connections reached 443.22 million, an increase of 10.63 million compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the number of 5G industry virtual private network service customers reached 5,816, an increase of 491 compared to the previous year.
