The main operating data of China Telecom in February showed that the number of China Telecom’s mobile subscribers increased by 890,000 in the month, with a total of 376.39 million mobile subscribers. Specifically, the net increase of 5G package users was 6.08 million, and the total number of 5G package users was 202.14 million. In terms of wired broadband business, the net increase of China Telecom’s wired broadband subscribers was 600,000 this month, and the cumulative number of wired broadband subscribers was 171.85 million.
According to the report, China Telecom has a slowing-down growth rate compared to the previous month, while mobile users have realized positive growth for 24 consecutive months, and the penetration rate of 5G package users among mobile users has reached nearly 54%.
