China Mobile recently released its major operating data of Q1-Q3 this year. The operating revenue is 574.4 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), a 1.4% up compared with the same period of last year. Specifically, the revenue of communication services is 525.7 billion yuan, 2.5% up compared to last year. The profit attributable to shareholders is 81.6 billion yuan, 0.3% down compared with last year.
Based on the "stable" performance in the medium-term, China Mobile achieved a V-shaped rebound this time. The year-on-year growth rate of operating income and communication service income increased, and the decline rate of net profit decreased. China Mobile revealed that thanks to the recovery revenue growth and good cost control, the profit attributable to shareholders in Q3 increased compared with the same period last year.
