Updated:2026/3/23 19:17

Recently, Hytera announced the judgment result of the litigation case with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois ruled that Hytera shall pay 50 million U.S. dollars to the U.S. government and no compensation to Motorola Solutions.

Regarding this result, Hytera stated in the announcement that the company has accrued a estimated liability of 60 million U.S. dollars in its 2024 annual report at the upper limit of the agreed amount range with the DOJ in the early stage. After this judgment, the company will conduct accounting treatment in accordance with Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises. The accounting treatment related to this judgment will not lead to the adjustment of the company's 2025 annual performance forecast range. At present, the company's production and operation are all normal, and this judgment will not have a significant impact on the company's current business and normal production and operation.

With the ruling of this result, Hytera's litigation spanning nearly 10 years with Motorola Solutions is drawing to a close.
