China Telecom released its main operational data for September 2024 yesterday. During the month, the number of mobile users increased by 1.93 million, bringing the total mobile user base to 422.67 million. Among them, 5G plan users increased by 2.17 million, reaching a total of 345.06 million.
In the wired broadband segment, China Telecom's wired broadband users increased by 1.22 million during the month, bringing the total number of wired broadband users to 196.26 million. In the fixed-line business segment, China Telecom's fixed-line users decreased by 400,000 during the month, with the total number of fixed-line users reaching 98 million.
Overall, in the first three quarters of 2024, China Telecom's mobile users saw a net increase of 14.9 million, 5G plan users increased by 26.4 million, and wired broadband users increased by 6.1 million.
