Gao Chunlei, chief accountant of China Tower, stated during the teleconference on earnings release that the company has a capital budget of 28 billion RMB, of which 17 billion RMB will be used in the construction of 5G Communication. He also stressed that the distribution of the budget would be adjusted based on the development of the market and the general strategy of the company.
The payout ratio of China Tower grew by 60% last year. Tong Jilu, chairman of the company, said that he promised the capital market when the company was listed that the payout ratio would be over 50%, and the decision on whether there would be an interim payout was still to be made.
