Alibaba Cloud Adjusts Prices for AI Computing Power and Other Products

Updated:2026/3/18 18:05

Alibaba Cloud announced at noon today that due to a surge in global AI demand and supply chain price increases, the procurement costs of core hardware in the industry have risen significantly. After a careful assessment, the company will adjust prices for AI computing power and CPFS (AI Computing Edition) services starting April 18, 2026. Specifically, prices for services related to computing cards such as the T-Head Zhenwu 810E will increase by 5% to 34%, while CPFS (AI Computing Edition) will see a 30% price hike.

Another significant reason for this round of price increases is the "explosive growth in Token calls," with Alibaba Cloud's MaaS business, Bailian, achieving its highest-ever growth rate in the first quarter of this year. Currently, Alibaba Cloud is reallocating its scarce AI computing resources to prioritize its Token business.
