Recently, Hubei FiberHome Venture Capital Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) was established, with shareholders including China Unicom Strategic Emerging Industry Private Equity Investment Fund (Wuhan) Partnership (Limited Partnership) under China Unicom, Hubei Province Investment Guidance Fund Co., Ltd., and FiberHome Communications, among others.
The fund has a committed capital of 1 billion yuan, and its executive partner is Wuhan Optical Valley Fenghe Private Fund Management Co., Ltd.
FiberHome Communications also announced that the company plans to jointly establish the Hubei FiberHome Venture Capital Fund with multiple parties, including China Unicom's Strategic Emerging Industry Fund and the Hubei Provincial Guidance Fund.
Among them, FiberHome Communications has committed 377 million yuan, accounting for 37.7% of the total capital contribution; China Unicom's Strategic Emerging Industry Fund has committed 198 million yuan, accounting for 19.8% of the total.
The fund's duration is set at seven years, with capital contributions to be paid in two installments, each accounting for 50% of the total. This arrangement provides the fund with sufficient operational time while reasonably controlling the pace of capital contributions, helping the fund flexibly adjust its investment strategy according to market conditions.
