The Guangdong Terminal Fast-Charging Industry Association was established in Shenzhen on December 24 and it will facilitate the domestic integration of fast-charging technologies. The incompatible fast-charging protocols in the past are expected to achieve standardization.
The association was initiated by the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology, Huawei, OPPO, vivo and Xiaomi, and had been planned since early 2021 together with all parties of the terminal fast-charging industry chain covering terminals, chips, instruments, chargers, accessories and the like.
