Fan Yunjun, deputy general manager of China Unicom, announced that the company will enhance independent sales capability as a measure to rejuvenate the industrial chain. The goal of independent mobile phone sales designated this year is twice that of last year, and four-fold as for pan-intelligent terminals.
It is estimated that the overall sales of mobile phone this year is about 330 million units, of which the sales of 5G phones is 110 million to 180 million units. China Unicom expects to sell 110 million mobile phones in all channels, including 33 million to 6 million 5G units, and the goal for pan-intelligent terminals is 100 million units in all channels.
