Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published Operation of the Electronic and Information Manufacturing Industry from January to May 2022. According to the statistics, from January to May, the added value of electronic information manufacturing above the designated size shows year-on-year growth of 9.9%, 6.6% higher than the growth rate of industrial added value over the same period while holding the line with the growth rate of high-tech manufacturing value-added over the same period.
According to the data, from January to May, among main products, the output of mobile phones is 609 million sets, showing a year-on-year decline of 1.7%. Among others, the output of smartphones is 470 million sets, showing a year-on-year decline of 0.7%; that of microcomputer equipment is 171 million sets, with a year-on-year decline of 5.8%; that of the integrated circuit is 134.9 billion pieces, with a year-on-year decline of 6.2%.
