Recently, China Unicom disclosed its key financial and operational data for Q1 on HKEx. According to the data, its operating income during the first quarter reached RMB 89.022 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 8.2%; its service revenue reached RMB 81.197 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 9.8%.
In addition, China Unicom reached an industrial Internet business revenue of RMB 19.419 billion in Q1, showing an increase of 34.8% over the same period last year; the profit attributable to equity holders reached RMB 4.634 billion, showing an increase of 20.6% over the same period last year. With respect to user scale, China Unicom’s 5G plan users reached 170 million in Q1.
