According to data released by the CAICT, the shipment of mobile phone in domestic market totalled 29.584 million in November 2020, decreasing by 15.1% year on year. The shipment of mobile phone in domestic market totaled 281 million from January to November, decreasing by 21.5% year on year.
In November 2020, shipments of mobile phone of homegrown brands numbered 22.680 million, declining by 27.7% year on year and accounting for 76.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period. From January to November, the cumulative shipments of mobile phones of homegrown brands were 249 million, declining by 23.6% year on year and accounting for 88.5% of mobile phone shipments during the same period. There were a total of 375 new models caming into the market, decreasing by 21.5% year on year and accounting for 89.9% of the number of new models on the market during the same period.
In November 2020, smartphone shipments totaled 27.710 million, decreasing by 17.0% year on year and accounting for 93.7% of mobile phone shipments during the same period. From January to November, the shipment of smart phones totaled 271 million, decreasing by 21.1% year on year and accounting for 96.1% of the shipments of mobile phones during the same period.
