According to the report on Q3 Performance 2020 released by Ericsson: In the third quarter of 2020, the net sales of Ericsson increased to SEK 57.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1%. After adjusting the net sales to comparable units and currencies, a year-on-year increase of 7% can be observed. Ericsson stated in the report that such increase was mainly driven by the 5G sales in mainland China.
In the third quarter of 2020, Ericsson achieved a net profit of SEK 5.6 billion (in 2019, the company suffered from a loss of SEK 6.9 billion) and the gross profit margin was 43.1% (37.7% in Q3 of 2019). The gross profit margin excluding restructuring expenses has increased to 43.2% (37.8% in Q3 of 2019).
