China's commerce ministry issues rules on 'unreliable entities' list

China's Ministry of Commerce on Saturday proclaimed that its proposed list of "unreliable entities" has been approved by the State Council and will come into force on the date of publication.

The world's second-largest economy is set to shape up an "unreliable entities" list that would take corresponding measures against the following actions by foreign entities in international economic and trade activities:

(1) Foreign firms and individuals endangering China's sovereignty, security and development interests.

(2) Foreign firms and individuals violating normal market transactions in China, interrupting deals with Chinese firms, organizations and individuals, taking discriminatory measures, or seriously damaging the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese firms, organizations and individuals.
