Centralized Procurement of China Mobile’s 13th Inter-provincial Backbone Transmission Network Evenly Divided by Huawei and ZTE
The result of the project “Centralized Procurement of Transmission Equipment for New Projects, China Mobile’s 13th Inter-provincial Backbone Transmission Network” has come out. Huawei won the bid for eastern regions while ZTE won the bid for western regions. This year, Huawei and ZTE almost evenly divided the centralized procurement of the inter-provincial backbone transmission, forming a situation of “two powers contending for hegemony”.
In previous centralized procurements of China Mobile’s inter-provincial backbone transmission, it had suppliers including Huawei, ZTE, FiberHome, Nokia (Shanghai Bell), etc. This year, Huawei and ZTE laughed to the end, revealing the transformation of the construction idea of China Mobile in inter-provincial backbone transmission.
