SARFT has recently rolled out the integration plan of cable television networks and 5G construction domestically. According to the plan, the integration will center around CBN and consist of provincial networks and strategic investors, establishing the National United TV Network Corporation with a modern managerial system.
SARFT officials suggested that the move is to prompt the integrated utilization of existing TV networks and content resources, forming an integral part of China's 5G network construction.
