According to No. 6 document of this year issued by Ren Zhengfei, Hou Jinlong, president of Cloud & AI products and services was appointed president of Cloud & AI BG; Peng Zhongyang, director of general cadre department was appointed president of enterprise BG; Yan Lida, former president of enterprise BG was transferred to be the president of category B national management department. In addition, Wu Weitao was appointed deputy director of the general cadre department and Liu Hongyun was appointed as regional president of Southeast Asia.
After just a few years of development, Huawei Cloud has achieved a considerable market position. According to the latest IDC report, Huawei Cloud continued its strong growth momentum in the first half of 2019, with a growth rate of more than 350% in China's public Cloud Iaas + PaaS market, ranking first among TOP manufacturers, and the revenue growth in IaaS market was up to 368%, ranking fourth and staying in the first echelon of China's public cloud service providers.
