According to the latest report by Counterpoint, a market research institution, the (global) market share of HarmonyOS, Huawei’s self-developed operating system, will reach 2% by 2020, making it the world’s fifth largest operating system surpassing Linux.
The global market of operating system is currently led by Android with a market share of 39%, which is followed by Windows with 35% market share, iOS with 13.87%, macOS with 5.92%, and Linux with 0.77%.
