Yang Jie, board director of China Mobile, said that China Mobile would build more than 50,000 5G base stations this year and provide 5G services for more than 50 cities. 5G commercialization services will be delivered to all cities above prefecture level by 2020.
According to Yang Jie, China Mobile will rapidly deploy 5G network based on the 4G network with the globally largest scale and build network efficiently at a low cost, relying on the 2.6GHz£«4.9GHz band advantage.
