Honor CEO Zhao Ming: Striving for the Top Three in Five Years

Honor CEO Zhao Ming told all employees that Honor will continue to be an innovative example for the smartphone market in the next five years. Driven by both brands and products, Honor will achieve the goal of being one of the top three in the world.

According to the data from Sino-MR, up to November 2018, the domestic market share of Honor Mobile Phone had exceeded 16%. The number of Honor offline experience stores has exceeded 1,000, with strong growth in offline market share.

Honor has entered Southeast Asian markets such as Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Bangladesh, as well as the Middle East market. According to the data from Gfk, the overseas sales of Honor smartphone increased 150% year on year in the first half of 2018. According to the data from Canalys, in the third quarter of 2018, Honor Mobile entered TOP5 in eight markets including Europe and the Middle East, ranking first in terms of the growth rate in nine countries. Currently, the overall overseas sales of Honor account for more than 25%.
