On April 8th, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) released China Mobile Phone Market Report in March 2018. According to the report, domestic mobile phone shipments continued to decline in March, which were 30.185 million units, down 27.9% year on year. From January to March, the total number reached 87.37 million units, down 26.1% year on year.
In terms of brand composition,mobile phone shipments of domestic brands accounted for nearly 90% of total shipments. In March, domestic brand mobile phone shipments reached 26.995 million units, down 29.0% year on year and accounting for 89.4% of total shipments in the same period.
