As for the rumor that the arrest of Ren Zhengfei's daughter and Meng Wanzhou, CFO of Huawei, Huawei issued a statement that it believes that there would be just verdict coming from the legal system since no inappropriate deeds are associated without Huawei.
Judging by the little information about the charge given to Huawei, it is unaware whether Ms Meng has committed any inappropriate deeds. Huawei stick to all the applicable laws and regulations of the countries in which it operates, including export regulations and sanctions applicable for United Nations, America and European Union.
