After gaining momentum for a period of time, the three major operators in China has embraced a new round of growth of operation data in May.
According to the data released by China Mobile, in May, the number of CMCC users has witnessed a net growth of 1.025 million, with the overall number reaching 942.784 million. The number of users subscribing for 5G packages has grown by 16.651 million, with the cumulative number reaching 221.95 million. The number of 4G users has realized a net growth of 3.588 million, reaching 794.29 million in total. Meanwhile, in May, the number of users of wired broadband of China Mobile achieved a net growth of 2.743 million, reaching 222.997 million.
In May, the number of China Telecom users has witnessed a net growth of 2.85 million, with the overall number reaching 360.67 million. The number of users subscribing for 5G packages has grown by 6.72 million, with the cumulative number reaching 124.49 million. As for the wired broadband business, in May, the number of users of wired broadband of China Telecom achieved a net growth of 950,000, reaching 163.15 million.
In terms of mobile services, the number of China Unicom billing users in May has increased by 249,000, reaching 309.7 million in total, among which, the number of 5G users has grown by 7.529 million, reaching 106.094 million in total. In terms of landline services, the number of landline broadband users of China Unicom has increased by 657,000, reaching 89.491 million.
