In December 2019 when the service of number portability was officially launched, there were over 0.6 million at that month. Later due to the outbreak of the epidemic, the volume experienced a slowly decelerating process.
Since the epidemic became normalized this March, the user scale of number portability has also gradually recovered. It reached over 1 million in July and August, and 1.5, 1.6 and 1.72 million in September, October and November respectively. By the middle of December, the volume of number portability has already reached over 1 million.
Up until now, the national accumulative volume of number portability has exceeded 18.5 million and the yearly proportion is expected to be over 1%.
