The National Industry and Information Work Conference was convened in Beijing yesterday.
The Conference proposed to steadily promote the construction of 5G networks in 2020 and deepen their co-building and sharing, striving to realize the coverage of 5G networks for all prefecture-level cities in China by the end of 2020. Efforts should be continued to speed up broadband and bring down Internet rates, and precision rate reductions should be implemented in the field of poverty alleviation and for helping people with disabilities. Also, key tasks should be carried out well, such as the comprehensive control over crank calls and the improvement in the quality of mobile number portability.
